He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton S. Thompson and Norma West Thompson Harless; his stepfather Orville Harless (Robin June Bailey); and his brother Bruce Thompson. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Lawson (Jeff) of Bluefield, WV; his sisters, Dee Compton of Kernersville, NC and Brenda Thompson of Lithia, FL; his sister-in-law Sue Pack (Glen) of Bluefield, WV; and his granddaughters, Madison and Alyssa Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
