He is survived by: his parents, Vera Lawson Johnson and Leonard Johnson; his brother Bryan Johnson; and his daughters, Jeralynn Smith of Charlotte, NC and Nohealani Johnson of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
