He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin R. Hanshaw and Elizabeth "Libby" Hanshaw. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Hanshaw; his children, Aimee Bolen and Dustin Bolen (Ginger Sorah Hanshaw) of Princeton, WV; his grandchildren, Kaylee Reed, Jaelyn Cox, Jay Reed and Carlie Hazzard; his brother Randy Hanshaw (Diana); and his siblings-in-law, Walton England (Patty), Keith England (Angela), Jerry England (Lolita), Diane Terry and Heather England.
