He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holt Francis; his children, Fred Francis (Kathy) of Jonesborough, TN, Kathy Poe (Danny) of Williamsburg, Linda Dotson (Kenneth) of Campbellsville and Lisa Francis of Rustburg, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Amy Ferrell, James Francis, Rebekah Hodges, Alex Lay, David Poe, Steven Poe, Matthew Poe, Jacob Dotson, Jenna Crockett, Jonathan Dotson and Julia Rodgers; and his siblings, John Francis of Clearwater, FL, Albert Francis of Crozet and Betty Shrader.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Homes (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
