She was predeceased by: her parent Samuel J. Hale; her husband Phillip T. Lilly, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Madge and Dorothy Hale. She is survived by: her parent Hilda W. Hale; her siblings, Mary Madge and Robert E. Hale; and her children, Thomas S. Lilly (Sandy) of Princeton, Michael Lilly, David Lilly of Bluefield, Cindy Gillespie (Bill) of Tazewell, VA and John Lilly (Susan) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
