He is survived by: his parents, Henry Percival Bridges and Cornelia Shelby Thomas Bridges; his wife Daisy Caldwell Wade Bridges of Bluefield, WV.; his children, Wade Thomas Bridges (Mary Ellen Washburn) of Charlotte and Lindsay Caldwell Bridges of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jackson David Bridges, Caroline Shelby Bridges, Irina Daisy Bridges and Maria Daisy Bridges; his brother Shelby Powell Bridges; and his sister-in-law Barbara Best Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Community School of the Arts or Urban Ministry of Charlotte.
