He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Comer and Eva Sexton Comer; and his brothers, Edward L. Comer, Jr. and Jack Comer. He is survived by: his brothers, Franklin Comer (Liz), Bill, Roger Comer (Ellen) and Joe Comer (Connie); his wife Mollie Jo Skeen Comer; his children, Rama Dawn Faulkner (John) and Todd Comer (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Craig Cardwell (Robin), Ryan Cardwell and Cydney (Nick Long); his great grandchildren, Zoie and Avery Long; his stepgrandson Andon Musick; his great grandchild Brooks Thomas; and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Comer, Jane Comer and Nellie Perdue. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
