He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Ruble and Louise Burkett Ruble; and his siblings, Jean Patteson, Darlene Lambert, Margie Rowland, Clayton Ruble, Robert Ruble and William Ruble.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ruble of Bluefield, WV; his son Eddie Ruble; his granddaughter Allison R. Lyles (JD); his stepgranddaughter Megan Hargrave (Dylan); his great grandchild Jameson Lyles; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kaylin Hargrave; his brother Preston Ruble; his nephew Michael Shrader; and his close friend Randall Lewis. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
