It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lee Marshall of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. H. Marshall and Josephine Estel Steele Marshall; and his siblings, Joy Marshall, Betty Joe, David, Richard, James, Robert and Daniel Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Heflin Marshall of Bluefield; his stepson Jesse Heflin (Holly) of Florida; his children, Shirlynn Marshall of Princeton, WV, Gerald Marshall, Jr. of Bluefield and Valerie Hale (Nathan) of Anawalt, WV; his brothers, George Marshall of Front Royal, VA and Leslie Marshall (Brenda); his sisters-in-law, Priscilla Marshall and Tina Marshall; and his grandchildren, Sapphire Marshall, Devin Meadows, Kasie Marshall, Austin Bennett, Emma Hale and Issabella Dove. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
