He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie P. Garrett. He is survived by: his daughter Charlynne Kovach of Bluefield, VA; and his grandchildren, Dr. David A. Kovach, II (Beth) of Cornelius, NC, Cheryl Gamble (Travis) of Augusta, GA and Ann Marie Whaley (Tim) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity or church of your choice.
