He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick J. Adams and Jackie L. Bratton; his grandparents, Brady, Emmaline Adams, George (Jack) and Ruth Bratton; and his siblings, Brady Adams and Stephanie Adams.
He is survived by: his friend Tronnie; his wife Doris Overton Adams; his children, Frederick Adams, II (April) and Bianca Adams; his grandchildren, Frederick Adams, III, Avary Adams and Irene Brown; his siblings, Gail Wilson, Candace Adams, Marion Smith (Jeffery), Dianne Webber (Barry), Kim Adams, Gilbert Bratton and Jimmy Boyd (Stephenia); and his nieces and nephews, Latasha Buchanan (Tasha), Kaneisha Buchanan-Paige (Javon), Keysonna Buchanan, Shenella Buchanan and Stefanie Bratton. He is also survived by relatives, godchildren, and friends.
