He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Coalson Garrett of Bluefield; his children, Freddie Garrett, Jr. (Ashley) of Princeton, Aaron Garrett of Bluefield, Justin Garrett of Princeton, Samuel Garrett Compton of Princeton and Kimberly Coalson (Nicky Gilley) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Skyler Nelson, Kensleigh Garrett, Nicholas Gilley, Ryan Gilley, Lucas Clower and Judd Gilley; and his siblings, Fred Lawrence Garrett (Darlene) of Sandersville, GA, Pam "Sis" Davis of Sutton, James Lee Garrett (Sue) of Davisboro, GA, Linda Ann Garrett of Bramwell, Brenda Lou James of Hickory, NC and Timmy Joe Garrett of Princeton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
