As Fred Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Fred Robert. Though Fred Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Saunders and Mable V. Saunders; his wife Beverly O'Dell Saunders; and his siblings, John W. Saunders and Wanda Carol Wimmer.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Swope of Richmond, VA and Lynn Swope Alley of Bluefield; his grandchildren, Makesha Myers and Misti Meadows (Buck); and his sister Joan Tibbs of Myrtle Beach, SC.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
