It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangeline Boothe Poteet (Bluefield, West Virginia), who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierce Boothe and Flossie Steele Boothe; her siblings, Luther Boothe and Lois Boothe; her daughter-in-law Rita; and her sister Law Sandy.
She is survived by: her children, Rick McFarland of Bluefield, Mary "Toots" Merriner (Thomas) of New Braunsfel, Alan McFarland (Terresa) of Princeton, Mae "Trigger" Bourne (Rick) of Syracuse, Robert Waschler (Diane) of Falls Mills and Jarried McFarland (Stephanie) of Bluefield; her grandchildren, Matthew McFarland, Robert Merriner (Christian), Ricky Bourne (Crystal), Constance Dewhurst (Chris), Brandon Waschler, Jordan McFarland, Jillian McFarland Jesse Duff (Jessica) and Marina Lewis (Austin); her great grandchildren, Madelyn Dewhurst, Joshua Dewhurst, Joel Dewhurst, Carson Dewhurst, Kailey Grace Duff, Landon Lewis and Casey Lewis; her brothers, Steve Boothe (Marcie) of Grapevine, Russ Boothe (Wanda) of Bluefield, William "Arnie" of Bluefield, WV, Allen Boothe (Betty) of Bluefield and Craig Boothe (Margie) of Bluefield, Virginia; and her sister-in-law Sherry Boothe.
