It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dortha Jane Havens of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Montcalm, West Virginia, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Russell and Lola Eva Perkins Pennington; her husband Robert "Bob" L. Havens Sr.; her son Danny Shrader; her daughter-in-law Tena Havens; and her siblings, Mildred Lucado, Francis Plymale, Betty Chandler, Bobby Joe "BJ" Pennington and William "Butch" Pennington.
She is survived by: her sons, Smokey Havens of Bluefield, WV, Jeffrey A. Havens (Lori) of Bluefield, WV and Scott E. Havens of Bluefield, WV; her daughter-in-law Alice Shrader of Bluefield, WV; her siblings, Harold "Bo" Pennington (Alice) of Montcalm, WV, Richard Pennington (Carolyn Roseberry) of Montcalm, WV, Shirley Sarver of Blacksburg, VA and Vicky French of Bluefield, VA; her grandchildren, Nicky Simpson (Matt) of Montcalm, WV, Budgee Havens (Leann) of Montcalm, WV, Tracy Havens of Montcalm, WV and Danielle Havens (Ryan Wallace) of Bluewell, WV; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Khloe, Chloee, Eithan, Tucker and Gunner; and her close friends, Jeanette King, Bobby, Nita Ratliff, Denny and Ruth Whitesel.
