It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Lowe Wimmer of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Raleigh, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Brown and Ethel Dalton Wimmer; his sons, Danny Salyer and Robert Anthony Jones; and his siblings, Ava Stowers, Harold, Dewey, Melvin and Arnold Wimmer.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wimmer; his sons, Morris Wimmer (Selina) of Green Valley, WV, Billy Wimmer (Tabitha) of Bluewell, WV and Mark Jones (Donna) of Peterstown, WV; and his daughter-in-law Lorna Jones of Rock, WV.
