The memory of Dale Shrewsbury of Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Vivian Shrewsbury and Thelma James Davis Shrewsbury; and his siblings, K. V. Shrewsbury, Jean Wood, Avis Houchins, Bettie Wrenn and Billie Weis.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Mattox Shrewsbury; his daughters, Kathy Hardee of Apoka, FL and Patty Hepner of Apoka, FL; his nephew Jeff Bailey; and his nieces, Shirley Steele Mallamas and Barbara Steele Miller. He is also survived by two grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
