With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Eugene Vannoy of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Northfork, West Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Vannoy and Hattie Javins Vannoy; and his siblings, Vernon, Billie, Mamie and Katie.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Gillespie (Dave) of Moneta, VA, Bill Vannoy (Karen) of Lexington, SC and Steve Vannoy (Azul Terronez) of Austin, TX; his sister Carol Day (Bob) of Bluefield, WV; his grandchildren, Robbie of Bluefield, Curt Wriston (Lexi) of Christiansburg, VA, Josiah of San Diego, CA and Skylar of Austin, TX; his close friend Jim Joyce of Florence, SC; and also, Judy Taylor, Bunnie, Bill Williams and Donnie Lucas. He is also survived by several other relatives, friends.
