He is survived by: his wife Joan Smith Bailey; his daughters, Ricki (Jeff Dykes), Jenni (Jeff Carowan) and Lori (Tim Shields); his grandchildren, Kala, Matthew Jacques, Jordan Dykes, Andy, Morgan Carowan, Sam, Kristyn Carowan, Dr. Landon, Dr. Tara Shields, Dr. Christopher and Hanna Shields; his great grandchildren, Cooper Shields and Killian Jacques; and his brothers, Charles Bailey of Woodruff, SC and Michael.
