He is survived by: his children, Tammy Hurt (Keith) of Princeton, WV, Jennie Perdue (Sam) of Princeton, WV, George Ray (Rhonda) and Cleon Ray (Phyllis) of Hernando, FL; and his siblings, Arthur Glenn Severt, Jr. of Sandlick, Richard Everette Severt (Brenda) of Sandlick, Thelma Comerose of Princeton, WV, Jetty Akers of Bluefield, VA and Wanda Wilburn of Ohio.
