He is survived by: his brothers, Fred Thomason, John Thomason, Bill Thomason and Robert Thomason (Yvonne); his wife Mary Thomason; his daughters, JoAnn Walthall (Glenn) and Sherri Curto (Tony); his grandchildren, Seth Sprinkle, Kelly Sprinkle (John), Natalya Curto, Emil Curto and Colin Walthall (Emily); his great grandchild Tessa Rose; and his nephew Roger Shutt (Shirley).
