It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Denise Foster of Bluefield, West Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Whittaker and Cora Wallace Whittaker; and her husband Samuel Franklin Foster. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Riffe (Cliff) of Bluefield; her grandchildren, Andrew Riffe (Lyndsey Pauley) of Huntington, WV and Tiffany Voigt (Tyler) of Clayton, NC; her great grandchild Olivia Voigt; and her siblings, Jack Whittaker of Lincoln Park, MI, Russell Whittaker of Michigan, Aletta Roberts (Dave) of Ohio and Judy Allen (Bill) of West Virginia.
