It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Strohm Thomas Jr. (Bluefield, West Virginia), born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on February 19, 2017, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Strohm Thomas, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Purvis Thomas; his wife Linda Borden Thomas; his child Carl Strohm Thomas, III; his wife Staci Stafford Thomas; his daughters, Susan Chapman Thomas Brand (Alex Jefferson Brand) and Missy Thomas; his brother James Oliver Thomas (Julie Thomas) of Atlanta, GA; his niece Tara Lee (Scott); his nephew Britt Thomas; his children, Brooke, Leah and Ashley; and also, Caroline Borden Thomas of Bluefield, WV, Carly Ursa Brand of Lewisburg, WV, Mattie, Hunter and Julia.
Remembrances, in lieu of flowers may be made to the Bluefield Union Mission, the Wade Center and Christ Episcopal Church food pantry.
