He was predeceased by: his parent Billy D.; his daughter Hope Thomason; and his brother Randolph Thomason. He is survived by: his parent Ruth O'Donnell Thomason; his significant other Linda Walker; his son Kevin Thomason of Princeton, WV; his granddaughters, Lexi Thomason of Princeton, WV and Graci Thomason of Princeton, WV; his siblings, Judy Cordle of Surrey, VA, Richard Thomason (Anita) of Bluefield and Dale Thomason of Princeton, WV; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Thomason of Bluefield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
