He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Gilpin and Reddy Clendenin; and his wife Vivian Carter Gilpin. He is survived by: his children, Barbara G. Reynolds, Billy A. Gilpin, Jr. (Debra) and Brenda G. Dusanic (Robert); his grandchildren, Ryan Gilpin, Brandon Dusanic and Jeremy Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Liam Dusanic, Kellyn Dusanic, Haley Oglesby and Bristol Reynolds.
