She was predeceased by: her parents, Arbie O'Dell and Virginia O'Dell; and her stepmother Isabelle O'Dell. She is survived by: her husband Fred R. Saunders of Bluefield; her children, James "Jimmy" Swope of Richmond, VA and Lynn Swope Alley of Bluefield; her grandchildren, Makesha Myers and Misti Meadows (Buck); and her sister Mary Jean Faulkerson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
