She was predeceased by: her parents, Montie Phelps and Pauline Phelps of Iaeger, WV.; and her brothers, Warren Phelps and Montie Phelps. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Woodie; her children, Myra Yates, Marvin Woodie, Jr. and Stuart (Melissa Woodie); her grandchildren, Gavan (Kelsie Yates), Forrest (Trish Yates), Lauren Woodie, Jessica Woodie, Seth (Amber Woodie), Caroline Woodie, Marshall Woodie and Emma Woodie; and her great grandchild Silas Woodie. She is also survived by Father, her parents and many family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given in honor of Betty Jo Woodie to the First United Methodist Church of Bluefield, Va Children's Program.
