She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Eastep and Samuel Eastep; and her siblings, Shirley Phillips, Samuel Jr. and John Eastep.
She is survived by: her husband Millard Gibson; her daughters, Rita Murray and Carolyn Bowen; her granddaughters, Fame Black and Tiffany Duty; her great grandchildren, Dylan and Jaydah; and her siblings, Harold "Bud" Eastep, Annabelle "Sue" Bailey and Wanda Rose. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
