She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burton Wilkes and Bessie Katherine Williams Wilkes; her husband Gus E. Anderson, Sr.; and her son Gus E. Anderson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, James E. Anderson of Bluefield, Bruce W. Anderson (Pam) of Bluefield, WV, Cathy S. Kinder of Bluefield, WV and Margaret A. Waddell (Robert) of Griffin, GA; and also Faye Smothers. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
