She was predeceased by: her parents, Price A. Jones and Blanche Hunter Jones; her husband Joseph M. Meade; and her siblings, Herbert Jones (Jerry), Elsie Mayne (Richard) and Betty Denardo (Frank).
She is survived by: her son Joseph M. "Jody" Meade, II (Charlene) of Bluefield; her grandsons, Chris (Cristina) of Fredericksburg, TX, Mike of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jeff (Tara) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her great grandchildren, Nicklaus of Fredericksburg, TX, Jordyn of Myrtle Beach, SC., Madelyn of Myrtle Beach, SC. and Audrey of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and her close friends, Dr. Vasudevan (Kamala) of Bluefield, Barbara Rolen of Bluefield, Ramona Cruise of Bluefield and Kay Humes of Bluefield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Human Society, Bluefield Union Mission, or Trinity United Methodist Church.
