He is survived by: his wife Ruth Milstead Carter; his stepson Jeffrey Kauff of Blue Jay; his sister Connie Carter of Blue Jay; his grandchildren, Cierra Spence of Crow, Chris, Michelle, Autumn and Nick; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Erin, Logan, Bailey, Dalton and Emma.
