It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Richmond of Blue Jay, West Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mann and Sybil Furrow Mann; her husband John "Bunky" Richmond; her sons, John Richmond Jr., Carl David "Buzzy" Richmond and Michael Richmond; and her grandsons, Steven Sweeney and Heath.
She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Rakes and George Mann; her half-brother Freddie Mann; her son-in-law Roger Wheeler; her children, Beverly Canterbury (Pat), Rose Etta Wheeler, Mary Sweeney (Bill) and Thomas; her half-sisters, Sue Lilly, Margaret Vandall and Nancy Ellison; her grandsons, Dereck, Jay, Casey Pierce, John Wheeler and Dakota Richmond; and her great grandchild Haden Hager. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Facial coverings and social distancing will be observed as mandated by the Governor of the State of WV.
