She was predeceased by: her parents, Zinie Lucas and Zanie Meadows Lucas; her husband Quincy "Billy" Murdock; her siblings, James Lucas, Marvin "Buck" Lucas, Fred Lucas, Margie Lemons, Geraldine Treadway and Emogene Keaton; her children-in-law, Libby Murdock and Morris Shrewsbury; her grandson Denny Murdock; and her great grandchild George Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Smith of Christiansburg, VA, Joyce Shrewsbury of Blue Jay, Denny Murdock of Coal City, Kenneth "Kenny" Murdock (Kelly) of Oak Hill and Marvin Murdock (Wendy) of Blue Jay; and her caregivers, Lisa, Ruth and Molly Cannady. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.
