Doris Lea Combs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2023, at the age of 95, Doris Lea Combs of Bloomingrose, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Cantley and Opal Cantley (Seacrist); her former husband Quince Hendricks; her husband James Combs; her daughter Kathy Combs; and her brothers, Douglas Cantley, Lyle Cantley and Larry Cantley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jean Griffith of Bloomingrose, Gary Cantley (Cathy) of Glades Springs and Gloria Dawn Peters (David) of Toney's Branch; her children, Sherry Mollett (Clay) of Drawdy, Kim Hauldren (Roger) of Bloomingrose, Nancy Jarrell of Whitesville and Randy Hendricks (Vanessa) of Van; and her granddaughters, Ashley McCourt (Timothy) of Bloomingrose and Hayley Parsons (Matt Griffy) of Moorseville, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great great grandchild; and host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Doris was a long time supporter of the Potter Children's Home, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to: Potter Children's Home and Family Ministries, 2350 Nashville Road.
