He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chamblin and Dorothy Shipe Shutts; his wife Charlotte L. Kerns Chamblin; his daughters, Kathy Abrell and Linda Steele; and his sisters, Katy Chaney and Carol Poling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Miranda Rephann (Mike) of Bloomery, WV and Susan Sheets (Billy) of Slanesville, WV; his siblings, Dennis Chamblin (Marie) of Summit Point, WV, Kathy Chamblin of Bunker Hill, WV, Allen Knotts, Sr., Dale Knotts, Mervin Garland Knotts, Linda Meade and Betty Lipscomb; and his grandchildren, Michael, Julie of Lesley, DJ, Tim, Orren and Jennifer.
Memorials may be made in memory of John to the Malick Cemetery, 385 Hoy Road, Slanesville, WV 25444.
