He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bradfield and Lillie Bradfield; and his siblings, Bill, Jackie Bradfield, Ruth Hook and Mary Louise Hook.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Allen Bradfield; his children, Charles Bradfield (Carolyn) of Winchester, VA, Mary Ann Utterback (John) of High View, WV and Keith Bradfield of Bloomery, WV; and his siblings, Betty Bridges of Paw Paw, WV, Lavern Kidwell of Paw Paw, WV, Louis Bradfield of Paw Paw, WV and Charles Bradfield of Westernport, MD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
