It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Welty of Bloomery, West Virginia, born in Chester Gap, Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Presley F. Mahoney and Viola Brucie Mahoney; her husband Lawrence Welty, Sr.; and her children, Sarah R. Lambert (Bobby) of Pink Hill, NC, Patricia A. McCormick of Seaford, DE, Linda J. Watkins, Viola B. Fee (Ricky), L. H. Welty Jr. (R. M.) of Bloomery, WV and Mike D. Welty (Bonnie) of Bloomery, WV. She was also cherished by nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
