With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Arthur Bland of Blandville, West Virginia, born in West Union, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Bland Sr. and Gladys Ice Bland of Blandville, WV.; and his siblings, Blanche Eleanor Bland, George Edwin Bland Jr. and Robert Charles Bland.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Bland (Angela J.); his daughter Jamie Marie Hass (Ron Hass) of West Union; his grandsons, Ronald James Hass (Brittney Hass) of West Union and Ryan William Hass (Allison Hass) of Pikeville, NC; his great grandchildren, Hunter James, Harper Adele and Oaklynn Mae; and his sister Norma Lee Kelley of West Union. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
