He is survived by: his children, Jenny Nicholson, Mary "Peggy" Darnell, Lesa Spitznogle, Eddy Spitznogle, Tammy Mooney and Lori Beth Rose; and his siblings, Roy Spitznogle, Sharon Roach, Brenda Yeager and Erma Wellmon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
