We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023, at the age of 79, Robert Dale Cain of Big Springs, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville "Inch" Cain and Bertha Mae Uhl-Cain; and his brothers, Richard Cain and David Cain (Lisa). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patsy" Cain; his sons, Edward D. Cain (Jennifer) of Cairo, WV and William Heath Cain of Big Springs, WV; his grandchildren, Brandon Carson (Lindsay) of Cairo, WV and Julianna Lenore Cain of Big Springs, WV; his great grandchildren, Levi and Natalie Carson of Cairo, WV; his grandchildren, Zachary Foster of Cairo, WV and Annah Mae Foster (Kyle Cole) of Cairo, WV; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Kenzleigh Cole of Cairo, WV; his siblings, Linda Stull, Bill Cain (Needy), Tim Cain and Becky Burris (David); his siblings-in-law, Katy Cain, Larrell Collins, Karen Yoak (Jim), Cheryl Cain, Cliff Stull and Brenda Cain; and also Roger Collins.
As he would wish, the family is requesting that in lieu of flower donations be made to the Ritchie County Humane Society, 2220 Pullman Rd., Harrisville, WV 26362 or Welfare of Animals Group of Calhoun County, WV in honor of his two adopted "pound hounds" Lucy and Tucker who he adopted at the RCHS.
