He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Jean Morris; his parents, Boyd Hezekiah and Icy Pearl Morris; his siblings, Linda Pearl Morris, Beverly Morris and Jewell D. Pauley; his nephews, Joe Morris and Jack Morris; and his niece Sarah Bell.

He is survived by: his sister Joyce Saunders; and his nieces and nephews, Carrie, Scott Mullins, Andrew Pauley (Amy), Lisa Haynes (David), Kevin Jennings (Tonya) and Jim Morris.
