He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clayton Summers, Sr. and Dolly Jessie Humphrey Summers; and his siblings, Basil Humphrey, David Summers, Jerry Summers, Russel Summers and Rebecca Flannery.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Marie (Christopher Wayne Burr) of Arcadia, FL and Bobby Lee Summers of Charleston; his grandchildren, Samantha Maria Burr and Christopher Wayne Burr, Jr.; and his siblings, Andrew (Anne Summers) of Kentucky, Ted (Kathy Summers) of Buckhannon, John Summers of Buckhannon, Helen Summers (John Johnson) of Buckhannon, Janet Lough of Buckhannon, Lena Oldaker of Weston and Emma Cutright of Buckhannon. He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
