He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Slaughter and Bonita Wisman Slaughter; and his brother Daniel Slaughter. He is survived by: his wife Patty Slaughter; his daughter Tricia Swiger (Zach); his grandchildren, Anna, Nathan and Stone; and his siblings, Susan Warren, Denzil Slaughter (Becky) and Janet Griffin (Dwain). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
