He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dawson and Ruby Williams Dawson; his former wife Ruth Dodrill Dawson; and his daughter Susan Jackson of Morgantown, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Michael (Darlene) of Morgantown and Mary Beth Seymour; his stepson David Lemley (Laura Ann); his siblings, Sturgis (Loraine Dawson) of Masontown, David (Sandra Dawson) of Toledo, OH, Earnley (Beverly Dawson) of Summerfield, FL and Genevieve (Don Wingard) of Grindstone, PA.; his grandchildren, Jason Jackson (Melissa Baker), Kenneth Jackson (Jennifer), Stephanie Jackson (Philip Schnopp), Amanda Seymour, Melanie Filandino, Shaun Robinson and Courtney Jackson; and his stepgrandchildren, Shawna Smith (Tim) of Morgantown and Chara Lemley (Shawn Mathias) of Morgantown. He is also survived by relatives extend to great-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
