She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd B. Skidmore and Mary Ann Yeager Skidmore; her husband John Stanley Fessler; and her brothers, Jack Skidmore and Charles Skidmore.
She is survived by: her children, Brian C. Allen of Urbana, MD and Theresa G. Nester of Sykesville, MD; her grandchildren, Tina, Lisa, Samantha, Dylan, Angela, Michael and Brian; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron, Athena and Emelia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
