Fred Ratzer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Ratzer of Beverly, West Virginia, who passed away on November 19, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Ratzer and Versha Dean Ratzer; his siblings, George Ratzer of Franklin, PA, Alice Dunlop of Glen Bernie, MD and Kathy "Nellie" Ammons of North Ridgeville, OH.; and his wife Helen Lantz Ratzer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margeret White of Prospect, PA, James Ratzer of Greenbrier, TN and John Ratzer of Marietta, OH.; his children, Jacqueline Dutch (Ronald) of Satsuma, FL, Mary Beth Beckwith (Randy) of East Dailey, WV, Fredrick Ratzer of Beverly, WV and Russell "Rusty" Ratzer (Stephanie) of Valley Bend, WV.; his grandchildren, Johanna Wrick (Ian) of Clarksburg, WV, Emilee Gibson (Brycen) of Lost Creek, WV, Thomas Beckwith (Holly) of Craigsville, WV, Kristie Young (Ryan) of Springfield, MO, Austin Ratzer of Beverly, WV and David Ratzer (Madison) of Morgantown, WV.; his great grandchildren, Arianna Schartiger, Gabriel Schartiger, Jocelyn Lompert, Kaydence Lompert, Octavia Lompert, Roman Lompert, Asher Wrick, Reece Gibson, Jagger Gibson, Dallon Beckwith, Madison Gorman, Lilly Gorman and Emma Gorman; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Dunlop, Larry Ammons and Paul Wood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
