He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Melvina Louk; his son Randy Lee Shreve; his grandsons, Matthew Stroud and Brian Shreve; his great great grandchild Ambrose; and his sister Barbara Straight.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Shreve-Lewellyn (Mike) of Mill Creek, Danny Shreve (Jeannie) of Oak Hill, Steven Shreve of Beverly, Peggy Young (Bill) of Beverly, Julie Howell (Howard) of Beverly, Donna Howell (Otto) of Beverly and Barbara Simmons (Mark) of Montrose; and his sisters, Bonnie Ball (Bob) of Huttonsville and Patty Smith (Denny) of Elkins. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
