David Ray Howell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Ray Howell of Beverly, West Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howell Sr. and Bessie Howell (Owens); his siblings, Paul, Lloyd, George "Buck", Lewis and Georgia Cross; and his stepgranddaughter Abigail Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnna Wilson; his children, Katina "Tina" Dawn Cochran (Tommy) of Petersburg, Amanda Howell of Elkins and David "DJ" Howell (Jessica) of Green Bay, WI; his stepsons, Brian Wilson of Beckly and Josh Thornhill of Elkins; his grandchildren, Cooper Ritchie, Danni Ritchie, Thomas J. Cochran, Gray Cochran, Rebekah Cochran, Hannah Cochran, Dalton Howell, William Edmonds, Wyatt Edmonds, Christopher Howell, Chloe Howell, Sophia Howell, Kylie Morrow, Khalie Morrow, Braxton Morrow and Kayden Thornhill; his great grandchild Brantley Ritchie; his siblings, Charles Howell (Alice) of Buckhannon and Sue Cote (Dick) of Valley Bend; and his pet Katie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name "Hootie" Howell to the Beverly Volunteer Fire Department or Huttonsville / Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Department or any Volunteer Fire Department of your choice.
