He is survived by: his children, Christopher Weikart (Melissa) of Whitsett, NC, Mary Beth Burns of Rapid City, SD, Abigail Haddix (Ted) of Beverly, WV and James Weikart (Michele) of Warsaw, IN.; his siblings, Kenny Burns (Jan) of Leavittsburg, OH, Doug Burns (Linda) of East Dailey, WV, Tim Burns (Lori) of Newton Falls, OH and Kathy; and his pet Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's name to the Davis Medical Center Cancer Center.
