Betty Christine Casseday Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2024, at the age of 93, Betty Christine Casseday of Beverly, West Virginia, born in Bretz, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Emerson and Mabel Emerson (Johnson); her husband Junior "Hoppy" Roy Casseday; her siblings, Frances Emerson, Helen Southall and Donald Emerson; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Lynn Casseday, Fred Casseday, Dave Molisee, Albert Shaffer, Bob Davis, Eathel Southall, Arlene Molisee, Eva Shaffer, Linda Emerson and Kathleen Casseday; and her niece Lanita Southall Vicars.
She is survived by: her son Larry (Terry) of Elkins, WV; her grandchildren, Dr. Adam Casseday (Kadra) of Elkins, WV and Julie Casseday Stutler (Bret) of Winfield, WV; her great grandchildren, Ruby, Annie Stutler, Vernon and Norman Casseday; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Casseday (Carolyn), Phil Casseday, Jim Casseday (Diane), Bob Casseday, Iva Casseday and Doylene Davis (Ronnie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She received many flowers during her stay at Lavender Fields so the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Masontown Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 345, Masontown, WV 26542.
